A meeting of the Lahore Central Cabinet was held in which it was decided that access to digital platform is very important for the foundation in todays modern times. In this regard, it was decided to create a website, YouTube channel and mobile app of the foundation. For the purpose of publicizing all the projects of the Foundation under these platforms, Chairman Raja Munsif Khan was entrusted to work on it. When Raja Munsif Khan spoke to Raja Faraz Mushtaq of Karachi on this subject, he expressed his support that he would work on the website and YouTube channel and mobile app. In this regard, Raja Faraz Mushtaq worked tirelessly day and night on the Foundation’s website. , Mobile app and YouTube channel created. Raja Munsif Khan and Raja Faraz Mushtaq jointly uploaded the entire record of the foundation on the website and mobile app. Now Mashaallah website and mobile app is complete and every member whether he is in Kashmir, Lahore, Rawalpindi or abroad can check every activity of the foundation on the website and mobile app. From 1990 to January 2021 all of the foundation The record has been uploaded to the Website and mobile app
The Government of Punjab has enacted a new Charity Act for NGOs this year, under which all NGOs operating in Punjab will be required to register under the new Act. Chairman Raja Munsif Khan made it his responsibility to register the organization under this new act and to renew the organization’s certificate. In this regard, Raja Munsif Khan has prepared all the necessary documents and submitted them in the Office of the Registrar of File Societies. The organization has been registered up to the provincial level.
It has been 30 years and 10 months since the organization was established on October 31, 2020. The current central cabinet has decided to write a history of the foundation. Over the course of 30 years, the organization has seen many ups and downs. The purpose of writing the history of the organization is to make all our youth fully aware of the organization, the welfare work that has been done for the people from the platform of this organization in the past and which cabinet has done this work and Which personalities have given their precious time to this organization? First the work of writing the history of the organization was started by the former chairman Raja Muhammad Bashir but due to his personal commitments he could not complete this work. Raja Munsif Khan, the current chairman of the organization, has been entrusted with the task of bringing this work to fruition. After the confirmation of the complete history of the organization from 1 990 to date, in which he was assisted by Raja Tansir Joint Secretary.
The Cabinet of 2016 had started a journey at village Khawas in Bagh District of Azad Kashmir under the name of Aghaz e Safar Memorial Dispensary but did not take NOC. In this regard, Raja Munsif Khan had started efforts for NOC from 201 6 but due to some legal complications, the work could not be completed soon. In 201 6, after consultation with the Cabinet, Chairman Raja Munsif Khan prepared all the documents for NOC of the dispensary. Hafiz Mohammad Naeem Kayani was requested to make an effort for NOC of the dispensary. For this purpose, Naeem Kayani took all the documents and went to Muzaffarabad where the case was forwarded to the District Health Officer Bagh from the Director General Health Muzaffarabad. After a lot of hard work in the District Health Officer Bagh Office, he finally managed to get the NOC of the Cabinet Dispensary. Raja Mohammad Bashir and Raja Mohammad Arshad also have a big role in this but the most important role is that of Hafiz Naeem Kayani.
The release of the dispensary fund is an important step of the central cabinet. Due to the lockdown and strict policies of the government, the donors of the dispensary have apologized for paying the medicine in addition to the dispensary’s salary. Now it was very difficult for the foundation to decide how to buy at least 1 8 or 20 thousand medicines every month. In this regard, the Cabinet launched a campaign in which a fund called Dispensary Fund was launched on the suggestion of Muhammad Idrees Kayani and a campaign was launched in WhatsApp group to deposit funds in the Dispensary Fund and Alhamdulillah for the organization. The members have contributed a lot to this fund and some members are making regular contributions to this fund every month. The names of Raja Munsif Khan, Mahmood Ahmed son of Muhammad Amer, Amir Aslam (Saudi Arabia), Naseer Ahmed are noteworthy for making this fund a success.
In this age of inflation, if a family member dies, the head of the family mourns the loss of his loved one, arranges the funeral of the deceased and arranges for an ambulance if the deceased is to be taken to the village. And if he does not have a reasonable amount of money, it is very difficult for him to keep the illusion of white coating. Therefore, Aghaz-e-Safar Foundation (Rawalpindi Unit) is providing ambulances for the transfer of its members, as well as arranging food for hospitality with tents, chairs and utensils at the deceased’s house. And up to Rs. 29,000 has been provided in the form of death.
Nowadays, every man is very worried about inflation. In this age, if our women sit in their homes and do sewing and embroidery work, they can run their home system very well together with men. To improve the economic condition of women, a sewing machine project has been started in which the Foundation will give a sewing machine as a gift on the occasion of the marriage of the daughter of its registered member. So far, a sewing machine has been given as a gift at a member’s daughter’s wedding.
Education is a basic human need and the importance of education in todays age can be well appreciated as educated people have an important and prominent place in every sphere of life and Aghaz Safar Foundation (Rawalpindi Unit) has given top priority to education in its projects. The Foundation provided Rs. 15,000 to an orphan girl from its cluster who is mentally retarded to continue her education.
